Water Chemistry and Bacteriological Monitoring Certification Workshop

An Alabama Water Watch, Water Quality Monitoring Certification Workshop, sponsored by the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program and the Portersville Revival Group was held on September 2, 2006 at the Coden Community Center.
The workshop was conducted by Patti Hurley from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
Seven individuals from the local area were certified in Water Chemistry and Bacteriological Monitoring at the workshop, efforts are underway to obtain the required testing kits prior to initiating a local waterway testing program.
